ERCE Partners with the PESGB to Sponsor Key Events 7 December 2019 – Posted in: MWM Client News
Independent Energy Advisors, ERCE, have partnered with the Petroleum Exploration Society of Great Britain (PESGB) in a sponsorship deal worth £15,000 over three years. Previously a sustaining sponsor of the PESGB, ERCE is keen to support the charity in helping to enable high quality technical events and networking opportunities for its members. The PESGB is already known for key events in the industry calendar – the biennial PETEX conference and exhibition (next due in November 2020), the Africa Conference held alternate years in London and Houston, and the more recent collaboration to bring the SEAPEX conference to London, alternating with Singapore. ERCE will be key sponsors for these events over the next three years, as well as supporting the President’s Evening in London and the Granite City Reception in Aberdeen, networking and fundraising events that typically close the industry year in the run up to Christmas, and the annual Young Professionals (YP) Summit, to be held in Amsterdam in 2020.
Adam Law, ERCE Director, is delighted by the opportunity to support the PESGB. “We have supported the objects and aims of the PESGB for many years, and have been active in holding positions on Council and event committees. ERCE feels that the PESGB is an integral part of the industry in the UK and further afield, and in an increasingly resource-constrained industry it is vital that companies get behind organisations providing such good opportunities for ongoing training, including conferences and field trips, networking and next steps in their careers”.
Maria Iredale, Executive Director of the PESGB is equally delighted by the support from ERCE. “ERCE has been a sustaining sponsor for a long time and we are pleased to see that support for the PESGB reinforced by this partnership. We rely on both individuals and companies in the Oil and Gas industry to ensure that we can continue to deliver real value to our members, and hope that this arrangement will be mutually beneficial.
